Album has grown on me

I havent had the chance to listen to this whole album. But they are ETF. Let them be them. They dont gotta be heavier (even though they are super amazing that way). Just like what they give, cuz either way they are the best band out there

Yeah, well I'm not so sure about them being the best anymore lol. Like even the lighter songs on TWIO were amazing (Ashley, Something) but now it's just like...they even said themselves it would be heavier so it was quite misleading. I'm sure it'll grow on me but I figured going to Interscope would be bad for anybody who didn't want them to go mainstream!

Yea thats a lil true....but i honestly love all the songs on this CD. and the deluxe songs have even leaked yet....they better by tomorrow!!! the final blow sounds amazingggg.

Yeah, like it's weird haha. I really like the softer songs, but when I hear stuff like Day Of Wreckoning I'm like "wow I wish more was like this!" and dislike the poppy stuff...but when I'm listening to stuff like Gorgeous Nightmare, I'm still enjoying it!

I think I was just 100% convinced it would be heavier so I have to adjust!

The deluxe songs do though have a chance to redeem it! How do you know what The Final Blow sounds like lol?

Got the 3 Deluxe songs now....wow. AmAzInG. Love the Issues remix. and The Final Blow solo was sick! ETF has done it once again for me <3333

Yeah honestly haha, I actually really like the album! Just I thought they said it would be heavier so I was kind of mad.

But WOW, The Final Blow is fucking EPIC! Definitely one of the best on the album.

All in all they did come through for me after more listens

but still....The Aftermath definitely wins the best on the album.

i've been listening to it over and over again. each time liking it more. the first time i heard it though i was like hmm. thats different. one song that did stick to me the first time around is world around me. idk why though i just liked it instantly. i haven't heard the deluxe songs yet.

i think that no matter what others might say about this band and even though i know that what they say might be true in some ways i can't really say i don't like escape the fate anymore. because i'm such a big fan. i'll always have a spot for them.

people don't realize that saying i'm a fan of the old escape the fate is impossible or i'm a fan of the new escape the fate. there is such thing but at the same time there isn't.

i understand what u say. and only bitches say they like 'old etf'. and 'team radke!!'. if you are so much in favor of ronnie then go to FIR forums, obviously hes not coming back to ETF so quit complaining. What they made in the past was Escape the Fate. What they make now is Escape the Fate. Get in or get out.

Yeah, I think just because it was SUCH a dramatic change for a band...like I can't hate on people that hate new ETF because fans of old ETF, the music was so completely different that it's easy to have a split-fanbase.

Not only did the vocalists change but the music is like a 180-degree turn hah. I guess only a select few actually like all kinds of their music!

I can get into the new stuff (really loving it now haha) but I think the first album will always be my fave!

im just gonna wait till its released to listen to it. i like the suspense
