i mean, i knew she wouldn't last forever...but i was always hoping she'd pass in old age. naturally.
but... what scares me... is that if her biopsy comes back positive for cancer.... and the treatment is more than $400 then i would have to make a choice.... thats what scares the shit out of me. i don't care how pathetic it sounds but...
i bounced around from place to place when i was younger, and that dog has been my only consistent friend since i was in 5th grade. i made friends each time i was "the new kid" but they came and went.
she didn't.
i'm sorry. i know how it feels when your friends come and go and there has been at least one person or pet by your side. in my case i stayed and a lot of my friends moved.

ya and i've lived in the same place for about 10 years and nieghbors come and go. there are only a couple that still live here from when we moved. one of them has been my friends since 1st grade. and he is moving to a different house. i told him he couldn't leave because he was the last of my little kid days.
It's horrible to watch an animal in pain. In October, I did a week's work experience at a vet surgery, and a guy brought in a rabitt that was 9 weeks old. And it was put to sleep because its intestines were rock hard, indicating that because he'd been taken away from his mum too early, he's developed digestive problems.
On another note, 13 days till Christmas! *Runs arounds* An early Merry Christmas to all you guys - I hope it's a peaceful and joyous time for you all!
