I love this song because it always seems to amaze me. It really captures true feeling in a human being, and that's hard to do. When i first heard the line "Leaving always drives me crazy" I really had to sit back and say wow. It reminded me of my own life in a way....I'm not going to get all mopey on you guys but just so you know what I'm talking about, I lost a lot of people in my life that I always let myself hope, believe their false promises, that maybe they would stay with me for once. My mom and I have been just us for a long time and it's like everytime we get to believe that it's all going to be okay, everything is snatched out from under us.
So that song really grabbed me and took my heart for a ride. For me it always seems that the music that comes on the radio or on a CD always changes to my mood. It's crazy, but i like it.

I just have overall appreciation for this album. Thanks to ETF for making it...Heart

thats really cool XD
thanks for posting it
Thats the kind of comment ETF need to see. I think they'd love to hear that Smile
Thanx for the support guys....ya i really do think they need to hear stuff like this. Hopefully it keeps them motivated and making us more amazing albums. i don't know what i would do if they stopped making music. i know what it's like to worry that a band will stop something they're amazing at. ETF has always been talented with music and i think the fans they have on this forum and around the world would really give everything they had to make sure that would never happen. Does anyone else ever feel this way? What song makes you just want to jump around for no reason other than it's music and it's important? Smile

great post.

and yeah, we're all pretty devtoted xD

i felt this way, in a sense, about My Apocalypse.
completely relatable because of the metaphorical value it has to it Wink

and i know how you feel about music fueling your feelings.

same here, same here :]
Ya music has always been that way for me. You know how sometimes you just can't escape something-no pun intended-well that's how music is for me. A lot of bands have inspired me to want to push my career in the music direction and ETF is one of them. i basically want to be a music agent and promote and book gigs. i'm taking all of my high school classes based on graphic design, advertising, business and web design. One day i hope to have a record label and have bands as amazing as ETF on my label. i want to be proud of who i represent. It definitely makes me proud to call ETF my fave band. x0
how ironic is it that after that last sentence Harder Than You Know came on my ipod?

ive never been very good with making words fit together to make something understandable and worth reading...a few people here may have realised that by now, so yes music does the same thing to me. and with the song that makes you just want to jump around for no reason, from etf its definaly 10 miles wide for me, i dont know why i love that song so much and its another one i can relate to...
theres also another song that totaly turned everything around for me. dont laugh.. but its 4ever by the veronicas, that was the song that made me realised that i really loved music and wanted to do something with it for other people to hear...
I like this post, because you like the lyrics, so many people nowadays don't even pay attention to lyrics, I have friends who listen to bands whose lyrics are god awful and I am like "How do you listen to that" "Oh I ignore the lyrics". To me music needs lyrics you can relate to or that have something to them.
^^my friends are like to me 'how can you listen to that! its just screaming you cant even tell what there saying!
but its a hell of a lot better then what they listen to.....
im such an outcast
Ya people make screaming comments all the time, maybe we are a select breed, or it is because I can scream, I can generally understand anything craig screams really easily, or other screamers (minus deathcore lawl)
I'm glad you guys have taken a liking to this post. it's nice to know that i have something to share with you. i know what your talking about with the friends thing. it's always been like that for me too. i know this is gonna sound lame but it really does mean alot that you guys like this so much. and for me its also about the music but the lyrics(if there are any) are really important to a bands sound as well....
im friends with a lot of bands so it's hard for me to avoid noticing little things like that. perfection is key some artists will say but it's also about all of the imperfections. imperfections are what make us perfect in anothers eyes. Cuz then they know your just a real person.

imperfections are what makes things interesting...if we could all sing in tune then the people who couldnt sing would be the interesting ones...
I believe that's true for almost everything in life. One person can do it perfectly and it makes everyone jealous and i guess you could say hurts their feelings but the one that stands out is the one that everyone notices. the one with the pink and purple hair is talked about more than the one with barbie blonde varsity cheerleader stamped on her forehead. That pink and purple haired kid is talked about more in one day than Barbie in one month. how do you get noticed if everything you do is just like the person next to you?
if music was all the same we wouldn't want to go to a concert. i like different and i say bring it on. whoever is out there that has a band and thinks they're never gonna make it...you will. to the band who gets told they suck...you might but someone out there likes you...thats why they can call you a BAND. don't be afraid to do what you want. its all about loving what you do. make yourself happy and know that there are thousands of us out here listening and waiting for YOUR record to drop.

DO YOU HERE ME ETF FORUM? DO. WHAT. YOU. WANT. DON'T BE AFRAID. JUST GO OUT AND DANCE IN THE RAIN BECAUSE YOU KNOW SOMEONE IS GOING TO CALL YOU STUPID, GO OUT THERE BECAUSE YOU KNOW YOU CAN GET SICK. DO IT BECAUSE IT'S FOR YOU AND IT'S SOMETHING YOU WANT TO TAKE WITH YOU FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE.

me too...i think we are twins lol....
ETF didn't get me to do it either but yea they did help...umm what got me to start was a few bands that i'm friends with. They basically taught me a lot of music industry info and gave me connections to other bigger bands and they just made me realize that this was something i wanted to do with my life. i've done basically everything. i've designed flyers, promoted in different cities to get people from all over to come out, i've done merch table...it's just amazing and i wouldn't want to do any of that another way.
