You know, the girls from the Millionaires are people too. Did you ever think that maybe they are actually cool people? Just because their lyrics speak about materialistic things, that doesn't necessarily mean that that's what they value. I've heard that they are actually really nice people.
I don't really know, and neither do you. I think we should all reserve judgment until we meet them. It's really not fair to think of them as bad people just because of their lyrics or because somebody said that they are "trashy".
I have 0 respect for Millionwhores, and anyone who does is an idiot. They make woman look like nothing more but sluts who only care about sex and money. Ok, first off, talent is subjective. I could say that ETF has no "talent", and you couldn't prove me wrong. (not saying they don't obviously, just an example).
And they talk about sex, partying, drugs, etc. in their lyrics. That's the very similar lyrical content AcDc and Led Zeppelin have, and they don't seem to get a bunch of shit for that too much. If they're girls and talk about that stuff, they're called whores. If they're guys and they talk about that stuff, they're called players. Do you know what I mean?
And you speak as if anybody could just write a song with protools and get famous. If it really was that easy, EVERYBODY would be famous and rolling in millions. They are famous, so they must have some kind of appeal to them that you can't really get anywhere else.
I'm not saying I'm a fan of their music or even that I respect them, I'm just stating that there are a few flaws in some of these arguments.
Anyways, I'm done arguing. Debate is not really my thing, and I see no real point in it, seeing as both sides usually never change their opinion. Please don't make this something personal. I don't see why we can't just have different opinions and just agree to disagree. That's my 2 cents.

Uh yeah, I assure you, I can write a song in garage band or pro tools with ease, if I had the money they had, and friends like Gabe Saporta I could be huge too, the reason they got big is because they have money to pay for advertisements and such. Do you think it is ironic bands nowadays make nothing? The reason the industry isn't producing millionaire super stars like it used to is because music is having more people attempt to get big in it. I have never stated Led Zepplin or ACDC are "Players", and there is a huge difference between writing a song, bass, guitars, drums and vocals, then just hitting random shit in garage band, recording some crappy repeated thing that goes on again and against, editing that with protools to sound good.
Also: As far as the "ACDC and Zepplin have lyrics like this" there is a HUGE difference between lyrics once in a while, that require some thought, vs every song being the exact same with no instruments, and going "LETS GET FUCKED UP! GIVE ME THAT ALCOHOL LETS GET FUCKED UP! A L C O H O L"

Also, the thing with the HU tour, if you're going to be a fan of a band you have to be ready to disagree with and even HATE some of the decisions that they are going to make. HU is just one of many that a bunch of fans are going to backlash with. Think of it from Hollywood Undeads fanbase. They are just as split as ETF's are. Some of them probably HATE ETF and are mad that HU are touring with them.

You make it sound like a horrible thing that they "chose" to befriend them. Last I checked I was pretty sure it's up to ETF who ETF is friends with, and just because we don't like the music doesn't mean ETFis can't OR they can't just like the people behind the music.
