Okay, anyone else pissed about the new sound, i'm not ragging, they are good, but in a different way, and i totally think they're a bunch of sellouts. which totally sucks because i LOVE LOVE LOVE ETF. How the fuck do you go from EPIC like situations to something like Harder than you know...? And don't think i dislike Craig, because i don't, i think he seems like an awesome guy, but they changed, and i realize that that's inevitable with a new singer, and i do agree with their switching singers after the shit Ronnie pulled, but come ON!! there is a diffrence between changing singers, thus getting a new sound, and being sell-outs and i think they chose the latter, at least change the freaking name.
Okay, rant over, anyone who agrees, please post saying you do, and even maybe some more on why, and anyone who disagrees, post as well, i would really like to hear how you feel about the new sound.

Sorry craig isn't fucked up on drugs 24/7 to write about drugs nonstop. Also: Sorry they were given a month to write the album, instead of a few years.
As a Musician I have to say: do you know what it is like to play the same style again and again? there is this AMAZING thing called experimenting. Playing the same shit day after day is monotonous, TWIO tests out every style almost, allowing the band to experiment with their influences, and things they enjoy.

you can't say ANYTHING about not making good music if you've heard that..i mean it totally blows away the entire DIYLF album.
i'm not sure who it was, but someone said how they don't make that much money.
they aren't these huge superstars who have all the money in the world that they can make whatever they want and still afford a living.
were the headlining USA tours and going to europe with ronnie? don't think so.
plus, they wrote their album in the studio, while recording...it really was not a representation of their creativity.
i say that the next album will make them or break them (well for me lol).
now they have a chance to take it slowly, write heavy stuff, they even made a video asking what people wanted...and 99% said more screaming.

but craig was the best for the band and they still have really good music they were rushed into this album so this next album will be much better dont get me wrong this war is ours is an awseome album bit it could have been better

yup. and personally i like album. i love how it sounds. like ThatDarnBandit said they were experimenting with their sound. many people like escape the fate. and why would they have to change the name? and there were soft songs on DIYLF so why are you saying that they went from situations to harder than you know? not all of the album sounds like that. and i guess you havn't heard This War Is Ours if you don't think thats heavy then whatever. and if you like their old stuff better then listen to DIYLF and TNSFTD over and over again.

as I've said before, i like the new album, it's good, i bought it and i listen to it alot. All i'm saying is that they've changed, not necessarily in a bad way. haha, i love how mad you guys get over an opinion.
And yes, i do happen to play bass in a band so i realize just how boring it is to play the same thing over and over, but that doesn't mean they have to completely change the sound, and yeah, except this war is ours and 10 miles wide, it is softer.
It is a diff. band, new singer, new sound, so that's why i'm saying they should change the name. XXescapefateXX and thisWARisours kinda get what i'm trying to say.
And, also as i said before, i like craig i think craig was the best choice for the band and he's a great singer. you don't have to have a softer song to sing more meaningful lyrics, thatdarnbandit.
The only reason i posted this was to see if you guys liked the new or old band better, and how you feel the two albums differ. Not to have you guys shove a stick up my ass and assume that i don't know what the hell i'm talking about (thatdarnbandit)

um anywho, i agree 100% with thisWARisours on the next album will make it or break it with me, as twio is borderline pop. i just hope they get heavier with their 3rd album, and we'll go from there.

^^^^ okay i dont know about musicians or playing the same shit everyday. but i totally agree with you. so what craig is different from ronnie, but they're both amazing. sure they have different styles but hey, its hard to follow certain people. so shut the hell up and give the dude a break. he's atleast trying.
