differences with old and new ETF

old-heavier
had an amazing lead singer Ronnie who was a complete asshole
all songs are about drugs (basically) but felt deeper
with the ronnie drama the rest of the band was miserable
successful but never got a lot of exposure
generated some amazing songs

new-experimental
has Craig who is amazing and is an amazing person
still heavy but now just has an 80's style sound to them
getting HUGE amounts of exposure
made 2 songs with Josh Todd of Buckcherry
worked with John Feldmann whos an amazing producer
they scream just as much despite it not feeling like it
happier
and just seem to have more energy on stage

look nothing against ronnie i loved him but they are happier and are getting a lot of mainstream exposure
ronnie is what got me hooked
but i love craig
and they wouldve never worked with josh todd with ronnie
overall both are amazing

and the next etf cd will be heavier and more screaming for you old school etf fans

dude ask anyone whos met him
he was an asshole
he had an AMAZING voice!!
but he fucked up and violated probation
and yes i loved the old stuff
but craig saved etf
and he can do their old stuff pretty damn well
they changed their style up...they were never metal they've always been considered post hardcore

So, making a fan pay for pictures, autographs, and stealing their stuff when they ask you to hang out isn't being an asshole? What about spitting on people, pushing people, starting fights with people, spreading lies, getting someone killed then saying it is someone unrelated's fault, showing up to drunk to even sing the damn songs,.... Right non asshole qualities..

Also: His songs were totally about drugs, most of them had to do with drugs, the fight with drugs, having issues because of the drugs, etc.

Listen to him talk, he pretty much blames everybody else for his problems, and totally trashes anything related to ETF.

There is zero chance of him coming back.

If there was a way to bundle up everyone's justifications on why we have lost faith in Ronnie, then that would be sweet

Okay, you want that people stop talking about Ronnie, but isnt the idea write bullshit about him, he always will be important for the band, he always will have the love from the fans, why? 'cause in spite of the things that happened, he was a BIG and IMPORTANT piece to start this band.
Okay, is time to turn the page, and notice that Craig has an amazing voice, all we know it, but when you are adapted to hear another type of voice, as Ronnie's voice is, you think that the 'new voice' should be similar, such a big mistake, because the guys weren't looking for an imitation, they were looking for someone new as the word says...
and, what about with drugs and that stuff?, so, you think that ETF is better now because Craig is on it and he was before on BlessTheFall that's a Christian band?... come on!...a lot of bands have problems with drugs, and when they get over it... when they wallk to the next level together, there's when they really start to be a band.
