Music Cellar Door
We walked through the doorway
Heard you calling from the hall
To find you in the bedroom
Not breathing at all
I drug your body
To the cellar where we lay
The wax it melts away
I kiss your face
Now we are starting
To love you more
Your body's on the canvas
That I painted on the floor
Now you wait
Like the drug, like the change,in the pain
It goes on
For so long
And oh
How it hurts in the worst way
Now that you're gone
It's so wrong
It's so wrong
If I could take you somewhere
I'd take you to the darkest place
Scatter you in art forms
Admire the whore
A million different ways
Your hands on picture frames
Your eyes in the glass
Where your face as a mask
Now we are starting
To love you more
A gallery of your beauty
No charge at the door
As you wait
Like the drug, and the change in the pain
It goes on
For so long
And oh
Now it hurts in the worst way
Now that you're gone
It's so wrong
It's so wrong
And down below
Your veins run dry, your vacant eyes
I lost control
Your face is pale, your body's cold
And down below
Your veins run dry, your vacant eyes
I lost control,
Your face is pale, your body's cold
Wait
Like the drug like the change and the pain it goes on
For so long
And oh
Now it hurts in the worst way
Now that you're gone
It's so wrong
It's so wrong
It's so wrong
It's so wrong
It's so wrong
It's so wrong
IT's so wrong
It's so wrong
It's so wrong

In my opinion, this was the best song on the first CD. I listened to this every day for like...five months, I think.
It scared the crap out of my friends too Smile Hehe

I love this song, even thought I love all the songs on Dying is your latest fashion, this one is one of those I love most: the text is just so full of meanings and so powerful it makes me sing along loudly and rip my clothes apart

RE: Cellar Door
When I first heard it I fell in love and listened to it ten million times over. The lyrics are very meaningful and Ronnie's voice does it perfectly. My favorite part is the second verse, mainly because it's the creepiest.

If you listen closely you can hear screaming during the continuous 'It's So Wrongs'. I don't know what they're saying, though. Huh

I used to go to a Christian Private School, too. It seems all pure and innocent on the surface, but in the end the kids are just like everybody else.

All of my friends go O.O on the songs that I play. I love seeing their expressions on their faces. I don't get how anyone can hate this song!

RE: Cellar Door
mainly because when you oppress people, censuring and disallowing things, that just triggers an opposite reaction to what others are expecting.
Its like when you tell a kid "Dude don't open THAT door"
you can be certain and sure that he will open it at some point whenever you are not looking at him.
Its just human nature, break rules and do the opposite of what they tell you!

I really love this song. It's so deliciously dark. And Ronnie's voice just makes it awesome! You really feel something when he sings this: "Now you wait.... Like the drug, like the change in the pain, it goes on... For so long."

Awesome. Freakin awesome.
