Being a vegan/vegetarian musician on tour has to be tough.
Surrounded by fast food and having very few options when it comes to eating.

Offer yourself to cook i'm sure tehy will support.
That's what my sister used to do when she was in her veg period.

I think it's amazing for them to openly support a cause !
Especially this one... I wish I could be vegan.

Right?

It's just pretty expensive....

all the organic food and stuff...

I was a Veggie for about 6 months and the first week was tough Dude! Argh and it didn't help that my siblings (at first) weren't very supportive...

The 2nd week was easier and I began to read up on Vegan books and Vegetarian books and all that stuff was EYE OPENING...

After the 2nd week I found Meat to be repulsive.

But I cracked.
Chicken is what did me in.
A chicken tamale at Christmas time Sad

I don't eat red meat, but I can't kick the chicken =[
It's Shitty... because I've read about the effects of eating meat and how it ends up on our table but yeah...I want to get there again.

Oh well.
I live up in Canada so access to meat replacements isn't as easy. We can't really grow much fruit.. and I can't stand peanuts...

Thats what I was thinking too.
Especially if the other band members aren't (and Max and Craig aren't, correct?).

You are correct, but Bryan makes trips.
He gets people to take him to Whole Foods and restaurants to get the food he wants. I remember him telling me they get mad at him for having to go out of the way for him. Haha.

it's the same thing as a vegetarian. you don't eat meat or anything that comes from an animal

Vegans don't have any dairy or eggs in their diet, and vegetarians still eat dairy and eggs

To the person that doesn't like peanuts they really aren't good for you almonds and brazil nuts are and they also have a lot of protein. To the person that gets sick very easily if you add spirulina in your diet you get the necessary protein and chlorella which is amazing for you. Drink wheatgrass which has all amino acids and protein plus much more you'll rarely ever get sick
