about the band, I fell in love with them in summer 2004, and yes, they were absolutely differents, not just as musicians, Im talking about how they were as persons, Frank Iero is a nice person, he was humble since the begining, But Gerard isnt, he's such a nasty person, he gives a contemptuous look to everyone, is a shame, the fans were always there when he was on drugs, and all the problems he had, and now he have a 'perfect life' is easier to him ignore us.When My Chem came for the first time to my Country, on february 2008, he was rude to everyone, with the press, with the street team, it was a big deception, the show was like 'im doing my job and that's all you can fuck yourselves' btw...
i prefer to keep the good moments and hope the new cd bring us something good like the old times C:

Well.... will admit that they all seemed really irritated/grumpy by March 08 (i saw them in Vegas). In fact they looked exhausted. Drained in every way. I had a not so great run in with him (why does that always happen to me???) he could have been an asshole (he wasn't), but I just sensed he was really uncomfortable. We approached him in a Starbucks inside the Hard Rock and there was this big group of people just following him around everywhere. He was waiting for his coffee and the big group was waiting outside of the Starbucks cause they would have blocked everything if they went inside They were gawking and taking pictures of him, calling his name...screaming shit etc. We approached and he was somewhat dismissive of us explaining that he was only signing things and not taking pictures, then he turned around and went to fixing his coffee. Where I come from, you talk to someone face to face out of respect.....not turn your backs on them. At the time I took it personal... I thought, Damn Dude, I'm not screaming in your face, hanging all over you or asking obnoxious questions and you still literally turn your back on me? I just told him "Naw Dude, we don't have a pen or anything....we'll see you at the show...."
With his back still turned he just kind of nodded his head.
I turned on my heel and walked away thinking "Wow. Not what I expected. I should stop expecting anything. Even a smile I guess."

Give or take it did change everything for me. But people are Human, and you gotta place yourself in their shoes. I would have hit someone. Fans just got out of control at one point. In fact some loony even ran onstage the next night at their show. It just got nuts.
I don't hold these people on pedastals.
I can relate to them, but their not God or anything. Meeting them isn't going to change my Life, so yeah it's nice to meet the people who inspire you, but is it necessary for me? Nah. Not at all.

Now I just admire from afar.

^ i know what are you trying to say, but people here werent annoying, yes, we were excited, it was the first time they visited us, people that lives in countries as Chile, Argentina, Brazil etc, unfortunately cant see their fav bands performing, maybe you can catch your bands in a warped tour, taste of chaos, bambloozle, idk, but we cant... it was just a smile, or maybe change his 'i hate you all' face, anyways, the other guys are way too nice, Bob and ray said hi to everyone at the hotel, haha.
I've learned to dont hold'em on pedastals too, I've learned it years ago, but when you're waiting 4 years for something, and that 'something' wasnt like you expected... is kinda dissapointed.

Back on topic. I LOVE My Chem. I'm not really familiar with their earlier albums, but I do quite like Black Parade (don't kill me). The hidden track actually made me laugh out loud. I think my favorite song of the moment is Mama or House of Wolves; it flips back and forth often.

Buuuuuuut, they still can't beat ETF for obvious reasons.

Ahh, don't worry, they got tons of fans from TBP...it's when they really blew up so you are not alone.

I was obsessed with "Mama" for the longest effing time and then "House of Wolves" so I kinda get what you mean xD but I liked all of the songs off the album. it was really cool to see them "shift" away from what they had originally started with.
hence my support of ETF Wink

as they too, "shifted" in a sense.
