second of all, apparenlty craig is writing 5 new(heavier) songs (according to wikipedia, which is a bad source... but i love it) ... I WANT HIM TO HURRY THE FUCK UP AND RELEASE THEM... or atleast onee ):

Uhk. My school has actually gone to the length of blacking wikipedia as a bad site haha.

But I wouldn't doubt it if they had one or two songs written at least.

Also, I know EXACTLY what you mean ! 10 Miles Wide just needs to be released !

i know what you mean with 10 miles wide..i mean something has been totaly forgotten by the mainstream crowd right now..its been too long. the people have had enough time to edit it, make it special lookng etc..

but with the songs.. i would rather them wait and make shure that the songs they would be putting out are what they want to perform to a crown and the fans want them to perform. and they arnt rushed or recorded badly.
maybe they could put one out on myspace as like a demo kinda thing to see if people like it or not...or they could put out another EP before the next album??

I like EP's and all but I can't stand when bands do an EP then use all the same songs on the next album, if they did an EP I think it would be cool if they say re-recorded an old song, or something on it so it wasn't just song's for the new CD, because then I would feel ripped off getting half of the next CD already.

O_o Most EP's are hard copies.

I own plenty of EP's.
IE: A7X, Warmness on the Soul EP, ETF - No Sympathy for the Dead, The Confession - Self Titled.

i cant decide if id be satisfied with an EP or not. any new material is great but more is better Big Grin

they should def put up demos though for sure.

i got an EP!!
i went to the store place and was like 'do you have any ep's' ( i wanted to see if they were any different to normal cds ) and the person was like 'umm we only have one at the moment' and i was like 'can i seee it' and guess what guess what it just happened to be escape the fates!! jjeezz i mean i had heaps of trouble finding twio and diylaf and i brought it and it was TWENTY BUCKS aaaah and thats $4 for songs i already have..but at least i have one now

(im a bit hyper if you hadnt guessed)

this probably sounds stupid but i bought tnsftd and diylf from itunes and then i got the physical copies. i got tnsftd from best buy and diylf was free from fan2band but it took FOREVER to get here especially when they accidently sent me twio. so now i have 2 copies of twio haha

I still haven't bought TWIO, I generally wait for warped tour or seeing them live to avoid shipping/tax/mark up prices.

EP:
Ya, it was mostly just for the sake of it, the idea of them rerecording an old song, for the fans kinda thing.. I mean I don't want just an EP with 4 songs that then end up on the main CD, without a little something extra. I've seen a few EP's where they just re-record the songs for the main CD then throw on like 4 more songs.

i know!! i was like :o
cause it took me a year to find diylf and i got twio on 27th december (i dont actually know what the realease date was here)

and xETFRocksx thats not stupid, i do that too with almost every cd i have, i download like half of it, and if i like it ill go buy a hard copy

the only thing i will ever buy off itunes is music videos...
